A. Steel framing / reinforcement (walls/ceilings)

• Steel framing structure (supply): 80–220 CHF/m² (profiles/rails/plates/consumables)

As an indicative reference: a 1 mm steel sheet weighs ~8 kg/m² (order of magnitude). At ~3.40 CHF/kg, raw material alone is ~27 CHF/m², before cutting, waste, delivery, treatment, etc.

In practice, for residential projects, the installed cost is dominated by fabrication and installation.
